Special Issue


The Journal of Banking and Finance will publish a Special Issue on “Commodity and Energy Markets”.


Scope

Papers at the intersection of finance, economics, econometrics, and mathematical models are welcome. 

In particular the JBF looks forward to articles on a wide range of topics, including: 
  • risk measurement and management, 
  • physical operation management, 
  • real options, 
  • market analysis, 
  • investment financing, 
  • asset management, 
  • regulation, 
  • contract securitization, 
  • derivative structuring and valuation, 
  • asset valuation, 
  • quantitative financial modelling.

Furthermore, JBF encourages novel ideas in the field and those that help to understand the role of commodities as a unique asset class and its role in financial markets.
